The fun of Glowtxt

I made the heading above on the site Glowtxt at http://www.glowtxt.com/. It allows you to create fancy headings in a variety of fonts and colours which glow. I'm a sucker for fun fonts but this is much more fun than any font I've found before.
I found Glowtxt through The Generator Blog at http://generatorblog.blogspot.com/. I'm off to explore more links! This module is heaps of fun.

Module 2

I'd heard of FLickr but never visited. Thanks for 'making' me do it. I'm planning a trip overseas and enjoyed searching for photos of my desitination. The photo I've posted was a lovely discovery. It reflects the age of the places I hope to see and hints at the many stories I hope to hear. The Flickr services, like Mappr, also have great potential. I might even use Flickr to share my experiences with my family. I hadn't realised that you were able to limit access to your photos. That was a nice discovery.

Reflections on Module One

I've had some time to reflect on my first bogging experience. I've been struck by two things. First, creating a blog is a very easy thing. It would be such a simple task for a class. Secondly, it was very gratifying to create something attractive and accessible. I was keen for feedback from someone. I imagine students would also enjoy having comments posted in reply. I can see its appeal. I'd have to think of the privacy issues before I created blogs with students though.

So, now that I've joined the blogging world

Hello reader,
Finally, the world can hear my inner thoughts. Not that I've ever wanted to share them. I'm not really the blogging type but a Librarian can't hide from web2 forever. So, now that I've joined the blogging world, I'll add my thoughts on Web2 tools from time to time. I wonder if you'll concur.
